Are you a writing teacher who wants to explore your own writing process? Are you an educator craving creative space where you can connect\, generate\, and share ideas with a community of colleagues? Are you hungry for ideas and inspiration to enhance teaching and learning in your culturally and linguistically diverse classroom? Join us for one\, some\, or all of the Free Write sessions. \nOnce a month on Sunday afternoons we will get together to: \n\nExplore topics relevant to our lives and work as educators through a community writing process\nExamine poetry\, picture books\, and other texts to prompt our own thinking/writing and imagine how they might apply in the context of our own classrooms and other learning communities \nEngage in writing\, reading aloud\, discussion\, and storytelling together around a variety of different themes each month\nEmerge with insights\, ideas\, and activities from the community writing experience to feed our teacher spirit and refresh our practice     \n\nTARGET AUDIENCE: K-12 educators
