- Experience strategies to help promote academic oral language proficiency as a precursor to literacy
- Examine ways to integrate content area and literacy instruction
- View resources that can help educators incorporate students’ home languages into literacy instruction
- Discuss ways to integrate writing with oral language and reading instruction.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Teachers, Interventionists, Bilingual/ESL Teachers, Special Educators and Practitioners who support Multilingual Learners Pre-K-Grade 3
NOTE: Participants are required to bring a laptop to this session to participate in activities and access resources.

Workshop Begins: 9:00 a.m. *For full day (5 hour) sessions we will use a mix of webinar (about 1.5 hours) and asynchronous activities worth the remaining 3.5 hours so you can complete those in your own time and still get the full day of credit.
