Participants are invited to engage in a live online session and a module for asynchronous learning in which we will:

  • Examine the fundamental concepts of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and how UDL principles can inform our approach to teaching English learners.
  • Explore structures, strategies, and tools to make your learning environment maximally accessible and effective for English learners.
  • Ideate and plan for application of UDL inspired ideas in your own teaching context. 

This virtual workshop will include both a live webinar and a self-paced learning module. The live webinar will last approximately 90 minutes.  During the webinar you will receive access to an asynchronous learning module to be completed within two weeks.  After the IRC receives your completed module, you will receive an email with a link to the evaluation.  Upon completion of the evaluation, you will receive an email with a link to your Evidence of Completion form.
