Supporting Young Multilingual Learners Mathematically (Prek-K) – Part 1

In Part 1 of this series, participants  will:

  • Learn ways to engage students’ oral language during math explorations
  • Develop an understanding of the developmental progressions of number and operations 
  • Explore a variety of concrete materials that engage young learners and build conceptual understanding
  • Create play scenarios that support students’ mathematical reasoning
