- Experience simulations of second language acquisition
- Discuss ways to make Read Alouds meaningful for young dual language learners
- Learn about the critical role children’s home languages play in their development and review multilingual resources that can support multilingual development
- Review and practice approaches that benefit young bilingual learners with and without special educational needs
- Discuss ways to communicate with linguistically and culturally diverse families
This virtual workshop will include both a live webinar and a self-paced learning module. The live webinar will last approximately 90 minutes. During the webinar you will receive access to an asynchronous learning module to be completed within two weeks. After the IRC receives your completed module, you will receive an email with a link to the evaluation. Upon completion of the evaluation, you will receive an email with a link to your Evidence of Completion.
