- Explore how we can make academic vocabulary instruction more meaningful and relevant for ELs
- Sample an approach that works particularly well for English Language Arts across grade levels
- Examine instructional strategies that result in generative vocabulary learning, allowing ELs to leverage what they know in their home language, especially if it’s Spanish.
- Consider opportunities to take this learning back to your classroom/school/district.
This virtual workshop will include both a live webinar and a self-paced learning module. The live webinar will last approximately 90 minutes. During the webinar you will receive access to an asynchronous learning module to be completed within two weeks. After the IRC receives your completed module, you will receive an email with a link to the evaluation. Upon completion of the evaluation, you will receive an email with a link to your Evidence of Completion form.
