Mindset Math with Multilingual Learners Gr. K-8
In this session, participants will:
- Discuss elements of a culturally and linguistically sustaining math learning environment
- Review language and literacy strategies that help MLs share their mathematical reasoning
- Learn how the use of “low floor – high ceiling” tasks creates space to develop mathematical language while naturally differentiating content
- Explore a variety of math tasks through the Multilingual Learner lens
