In this workshop, led by former Dual Language principal Tracy Taylor, participants will:

  • Examine eight key conditions critical to the success of an MTSS designed with English Learners in mind, and utilize this framework to evaluate their current practices
  • Explore what must be true of interventions for them to work for English Learners in particular and any student population in general
  • Consider ways to develop MTSS Home-Based Intervention Plans for ELs in the event of continued school closures
  • Engage in group dialogue about strategies for addressing the social-emotional needs of students returning to school during these unprecedented times

This virtual workshop will include both a live webinar and a self-paced learning module. The live webinar will last approximately 90 minutes.  During the webinar you will receive access to an asynchronous learning module to be completed within two weeks.  After the IRC receives your completed module, you will receive an email with a link to the evaluation.  Upon completion of the evaluation, you will receive an email with a link to your Evidence of Completion form.
