Kick off Pride month by learning more about practices to support and celebrate the LGBTQ community in your school!
- Examine current law, policies and guidelines in Illinois for integrating LGBTQ+ history and affirming practices in our schools, using a lens of language and culture to focus particularly on supporting LGBTQ+ youth in multilingual communities
- Explore strategies and resources to make your learning environment safe, inclusive, and affirming for all students, and particularly LGBTQ+ students in multilingual communities
- Begin to ideate what LGBTQ+ affirming practices can look like in your own multilingual teaching context
