What is Culturally Responsive Teaching and how can I align it within my practice?

The goals of this session are to define culturally responsive teaching (CRT) and identify high leverage teaching strategies that can be applied across grade levels and across content areas in support of culturally and linguistically diverse students. We will explore the WIDA guiding principles of language development as it relates to CRT pedagogical practice. Teachers will walk away with a menu of strategies that align to the key components of CRT.

Audience: Teachers K-12 (Spanish-English)
