Weekend Language Detectives: Keeping Authors Agency Alive K-8

In this workshop, we will explore how to conceptualize writing time to be a world of choice, independence, and inquiry that lets writers draw upon their language, interests, culture, and experiences.  Providing intentional moments of student agency (about content, style, structure, format, etc.), will allow your writers to develop a strong writing identity and engage more fully in the writing process.
