Lately I’ve been seeing posts on social media from teachers looking for resources for teaching English learners. Some are new teachers, who’ve just been hired as an EL teacher (I’ve been there…it’s overwhelming but you’ll figure it out). Some are veteran teachers who will be teaching ELs for the first time. No matter the situation, seeing this question prompted me to start collecting the resources I would have wanted when I started teaching ELs.
I have a longer post in the works for the new EL teachers, but hopefully this collection of resources helps you as you prepare for next school year.
