How do we utilize the Illinois Spanish Language Arts standards in daily classroom instruction? This follow-up session provides TBE educators with concrete strategies to plan, align, and implement standards-based Spanish language arts instruction.In this session, we will:

• Address how to align the SLA standards to traditional TBE program models.
• Apply SLA standards and essential understandings to weekly and daily lesson planning.
• Leverage vertical articulation insights to differentiate instruction for diverse Spanish proficiency levels within TBE classrooms.
