The Language of Trauma:  Let’s Talk About Stress, Overwhelm and Burnout

Trauma may sound intense, but it shows up in our daily lives way more often than we’d like to think. Stress, anxiety, burnout, and feelings of overwhelm are all potential signs that point to the existence of trauma.

This workshop is for any educator who has ever found themselves at a loss for words due to stress or overwhelm. It’s designed to be a safe community space where we’ll define what trauma is and identify the real ways it shows up in our workplaces and everyday lives. Together, we’ll make sense of what trauma is trying to say and find out what you can do when wearing your school hats starts to feel too heavy and overwhelming.

Disclaimer: This workshop is not therapy and is not designed to replace therapy. It also does not substitute for professional mental health advice, diagnosis, and treatment.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Teachers, Specialists, Administrators, Paraprofessionals, Family Liaisons
