UDL + CLD: Universal Design for Learning in the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Classroom

Together we will:

Examine the framework and fundamental concepts of Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

Deepen our understanding and practice of UDL by applying a multilingual/multicultural lens and focusing on how this approach can enrich and sustain culturally and linguistically diverse learning communities

Explore structures, strategies, and tools to make our learning environments maximally accessible and effective for all students, and particularly multilingual learners

Brainstorm and plan for application of UDL inspired practices in different teaching contexts–no matter the program, content, or ages you teach, you are welcome!

Target Audience: K-12 educators
