Using bilingual books to support el desarrollo bilingüe
Join me for this in-person workshop where we take a first hand look at various types of bilingual text and how these texts can be used in instruction.
- Through a hands-on approach, we will explore some bilingual texts (mostly Spanish/English bilingual books).
- We will examine how bilingual books can support translanguaging in bilingual and dual language classrooms.
- We will consider ways to incorporate the use of bilingual text in your instructional practice as a means to strengthen language and literacy.
