Supporting Elementary Newcomers
During this event, elementary educators serving multilingual learners will:
- Discuss ways to bank on inclusive experiences that benefit newcomer students
- Design systems to provide a welcoming environment and positive transition
- Explore a variety of tools and ideas that can help to make content more comprehensible
- Receive a digital tool bank of resources to take with you
- Have time to collaboratively or independently plan and create tools
