• Explore oracy strategies that move beyond basic “icebreakers” to help Spanish-English bilingual students develop the academic language they need to succeed in both languages.
• Discover why structured talk is an effective tool for developing bilingual academic vocabulary and student agency.
• Learn how to use oral language structures to directly support student writing.
