A 2-Day Professional Development Workshop for Educators
Workshop Objectives: Participants will be able to:
- Understand the unique strengths of SLIFE and challenges of aligning supports, tools, and instructional delivery to serve them.
- Implement culturally responsive and trauma-informed teaching practices.
- Utilize effective strategies for literacy development, math instruction, and social-emotional learning for SLIFE students, including exploration of the MALP framework.
- Access and utilize relevant resources and support systems for SLIFE students and their families.
